Nick Manning bio


Independent commentator and consultant on advertising and media.

Nick’s career spans over 27 years in the Media Agency business, principally as co-founder of Manning Gottlieb Media, now known as MG OMD, and as CEO of OMD Group in the UK.

He spent 10 years at Ebiquity, with highlights including co-writing the ANA’s recommendations for media transparency following their 2016 study. He has since continued to specialise in independent consulting with his own business, Encyclomedia International.

A frequent columnist and podcast guest, Nick’s specific emphasis is on media transparency.  In June 2023 Nick became Non-Executive Chairman of Media Marketing Compliance.
